    Deposition: William Faldoe, apprentice to Ralph Smith, Bedford. Saw W.M. steal the goods. The Informacon of William Faldoe Apprentice unto Ralph Smith Esq now Major of the said Towne taken upon his oath the Thirteenth day of August in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred seaventy and seaven This Informant saith that this present thirteenth day of August one who calls himselfe by the name of William Millar Feloniously tooke Twelve Dozen of Silver and Gold Buttons the goods of his said Master out of his said Masters shopp in Bedford aforesaid which hee knoweth to bee true for that hee did see the said Millar take the said goodes and carryeing of them away hee this Informant tooke them from the possession of the said Millar which hee knoweth to bee the same goodes now showed unto him at the time of his examinacon and further saith not William Faldo Taken and acknowledged the Day and yeare above written Before me W Foster
