    Deposition: Thomas Threader, Flitwick, warrener. Suspected strangers going to and from R.R.'s house to be deer stealers. The Informacion of Thomas Threader of Flitwick in the County of Bedford warrenner ... before Sir Francis Wingate knight ... 11th March 1678 This Informant sayth that he hath seen divers persons often times comeing and goeing to and from the house of Richard Rolph of Flitwicke, who were allwayes Strangers and unknown to this Informant, and he did suspect some of them to bee Deere Stealers, there being at the house of the said Richard Rolph a Greyhound, and that one of the said persons who did most frequent the said Rolphs house did ware a Pereque of a Yellowish colour, and that Rolph told him he was related to his wife, he thinkes he said he was his wife's Brother; and further This Informant sayth not.
