Deposition: John Savill, Mogerhanger, labourer 19 April 1675.
Denies ever being in house of William Hopkins of Silsoe. Says goods were brought into his house by 'some person he knoweth not.' The examination of John Savill of Mogerhanger in the county of Bedford laboror taken before mee George Wyan one of his Maiestyes Justices of the Peace for this county this nineteenth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord 1675 This examinate doth denye that ever hee was in the house of the said William Hopkins of Silsoe in the county of Bedford but saith that the goods was brought into his house by some person that hee knoweth not and further saith not Geo Wyan The mark of John Savill
