Deposition: Edward Veale, Bedford, tailor. Found coverlet and blanket with Ann Munns, who said she had them from a travelling woman. The informacon of Edward Veale of Bedford taylor taken upon oath the 22th day of May 1675 before Wm Foster and Robt Crompton Esq This informant saith that about one yeare and a half last past hee lost one woolle coverlet of a green and yellow colour, and one white blankett workt at each corner with red and blue which were stolen from him, and that uppon Thursday last hee found the said goods in the custody of Anne the wife of John Munns who keeps the Starr Inn att Elstow, who saith that shee bought them of a travelling woman, and that her husbond knew nothing of itt And further saith not Edward Veale Taken the day & yeare above written by us Wm Boteler Wm Foster Robt Crompton
