    Deposition: James Jones. Tilsworth. Yeoman. Constable. 22 April 1670. Received John Keye. Thomas Jackson. Tilsworth. Labourer. 22 April 1670. He and Th.Studds found J.Keye hiding in a hedge, and brought him to the Constable. The information of James Jones of Tilsworth Beds., yeoman taken before the same on 22 April 1670 This informant saith that one Thos Studds of Hockleife in the sd. County smith did deliver to this inf. being constable of Tilsworth aforesd., the body of one Jn Keys chargeing him this inf. to secure him he being suspected to have stolen a horse; and further saith not. The information of ThomasJackson of Tilsworth Beds. labourer taken before me Fra. Wingate JP on the 22nd of April 1670 This inf. saith that he together with Thos Studds of Hockleife Beds. blacksmith being charged to pursue one John Keys who was suspected to have stolen a horse and had newly made his flight did find the sd. Jn Keys hidden in a hedge where they did apprehend him and put him into the constables hands of Tilsworth in which parish he was taken And further deposeth not.
