    Deposition: Richard Gaseley. Woburn. Constable. 27 May 1670 Arrested Mary Williamson on suspicion of stealing the 4 flagons and 1 spoon she offered for sale at Woburn. Believes she stole one flagon from Elizabeth Adams and 2 from Anne East. The deposition of Richard Gaseley of Wooburn in the Countie of Bedford taken upon oath before St John Chernocke Bartt one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said Countie the 27th day of May Ann dom 1670 This deponent saith that Mary Williamson of Amptill in this Countie of Bedford came to Wooburn in the said Countie and there proffered to sell foure pewter flaggons and one pewter spoone and this deponent being persuaded that shee stole them tooke her upon suspition thereof and further this deponent saith that the markes that was on the flaggon were scratched out and this depont doth beleive they was stole from severall persons in Amptill namely one from Elizabeth Adams and two from Anne East and further this depont saith not.
