The Red Lion Inn. West:garden and premises of Robert Thomas Mallett North: messuage and premises of John Brantom East: premises of John Brantom, William Readman and North Street. And whereas by a deed of declaration of trust of 25 February 1898 John Henry Brantom declared that the sum of £1000 was actually received by Thomas George Hobbs, as trustee for Thomas Brantom deceased. And whereas the equity of redemption of the mortgage premises is vested in Joseph Henry Brantom. And whereas the principal sum of £1000 still remains owing to Baron Frederick John Gates, but all interest to date has been paid. And whereas Joseph Henry Brantom has agreed to sell his equity of redemption to Thomas Brantom and Co for 10s Witnesseth Conveyance of equity and redemption by 1 to 4 consideration of 10s, 4 to become subject to the existing mortgage of £1000. Signed and sealed by the partners, including the common seal of Thomas Brantom and Co Ltd and the pencilled names of the directors, Joseph H Brantom and Sidney Brantom. Attached note: the company seal to be affixed in the presence of two directors who must sign their names.
