    Memorandum of charge Parties: (i) Alfred Lambert of Stotfold, Beds, brick manufacturer. (ii) Mary Dear of Baldock, Hertfordshire, widow. Operative: - Memorandum of a mortgage charge from (i) to (ii) of £250 with interest at £5 per centum per annum. The sum is to be advanced by James Hall Lambert of New Zealand, pottery manufacturer at the direction of (ii). (i) conveys (a) to (ii) as security for repayment. Property: (a) 2 allotments and parcels of arable land in Ray Field, Stotfold of 7a 2r 2p (No. 204a/b on the Stotfold Inclosure award) together with buildings that have been erected on the premises which were late in the occupation of Benjamin Whitmore and John Stanton and now in the occupation of JS, (i) and another. Bounded on NW by land of the trustees of the late Rev William Arlington; SW by hereditaments of (i); SE by land late of Rev Richard Vickris Pryor and others and on the S by a public road leading from Stotfold to Caldicote. Habendum: - To (ii) subject to usual mortgage provisos for redemption. Witnessed by James Brown, clerk to Veasey, Balderston & Warren, solicitors. Endorsed: payment of principal sum and interest of £258/6/8 by (i) on the 16th Jul 1892.
