    4. Large folio vol. filled with collections for the pedigrees of the de Greys, and the alliances of the family. The collections are of the 17th and 18th cents. (some, I think) were got up for the cases printed in Collins on Baronies). 9. Folio vol. paper, 17th cent. Armorial of the Mayors and Sheriffs of London (the arms are coloured) from Fitz-Aylwin to the year 1630. The arms in 4 pages (1622 - 1630) are only pencilled and not coloured, and the writing is in a different hand. 14. Folio, paper 16th cent. Transactions in Parliament, 17th Mar. 3 Car. I, 1627, to the prorogation on the 26th June. 15. Folio vol. paper 16th cent. Contains collections for the family of Lascelles, Extracts from the Gt. Register of Evidences of the Duchy of Lancaster, and from the Register of Evidences of the Prior of Newhons, co. Lancaster; and fo. 10, touching the office of Marshal, from records (in French and Latin). (1/2 page of details given in Report.) 20. Folio vol. paper, temp. Jas. I. Baron of 'Rycot modo superstes 1586' under whose name his son Wm. is entered as having died in his father's lifetime, and below, William's son Hen. is entered. 37. Folio, paper, 16th cent. Latin treatise on whether a man may marry the widow of his deceased brother. Dedicated to Hen. VIIIth. By Brother Jacobus Calchus, a Carmelite. 34 leaves. Preface dated London, 8 Kal. Aprilis 1520. Beautifully bound, apparently presentation copy to the King. 39. Folio, paper, 16 cent. Arms tricked in pen and ink of Princes and Nobles of Ireland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Poland. 41. 4to vol., vellum, 1714. Statutes of the Order of the Garter, wri ten for Hen. Duke of Kent. 46. 4to vol., paper, 17th cent. Epitaphs and amatory and other songs by various authors. 48. Compendious directions for builders by Jas. Leoni, addressed to Hen. Duke of Kent, K.G., 4to., paper, 41 pp. 50. 2 vols. in 8vo. Remembrances for order and decency to be kept in the upper House &c. &c. brought down to 1767. 55. 12mo vo., 83 pp. and a table. Letter to Mr. van B. de M. at Amsterdam by Denzill Lord Holles concerning the govt. of England, 1676, copied out 1688. Begins: 'Dear Sir, the great conclusion Solomon made....'"
