'Thys byll indentyd made the second day of May in the fourth
yere of the reigne of our sovereryne Lord Edward the Syxte by
the grace of god king of England ffrance & Ireland defender of
the fayth & in yerth supreme hed of the church of En------
Ireland Betwene Hew Lewes of Henlow in the--------------------
Bedford husbandman of the one parte & Cy[?]-----------------
of Keyshoe in the sayd countie husbandman-------------------
Wytnesseth that where John Lewes son----------------
Lewes shall by the sufferance of god ma-----ta----
Wyfe one Agnes Boston of Colworth in the sayd cou---------
wydow, Wheruppon the sayd Hew Lewes ffa-------
sayd John covennenteth & grannteth by these presents[?] to m-----------
cause to be made into the handes of one of the servants [?] of the
Lord of that hold & sufficient & lawfull surrender of & in a
copyhold in Henloe and callyd Adcocke wythall such parcells of
landes & medow wyth the appurtenances theruntobelonging
lying in the farowe & fyelde of [crossed through] & medowes of Henloe
aforesayd to the use & performance as hereafter foloweth
that ys to say first to the use of the sayd Hew Lewes for terme
of hys lyfe & after hys deceasse Agnes hys wyfe to ----------
the pursyte[?] of halfe the sayd copyfold with other-------
during her lyfe & after the decesse of the so------------
