    The examination of Henry Rose of Olney in ye County of Bucks, shoemaker taken before me Anthony Tyringham of Tyringham in ye county aforesayd. This examinat sayth that betwene Christmas & Candlemas last he with Robert Coles John Kerbye John Knight George Baily William Abraham & Thomas Butcher about vi a clocke in ye evening went towardes Harrold Parke of purpose to kill venison having with them a lease of greyhoundes one of them Mr Taverners another Coles & a bitch of Frances Stevenson and came to ye sayd parcke about nine a clocke & there with the sayd Greyhound they killed a sorell, a dowe, & a brase of fawnes & caryed them to Olney whether they returned yt same night to one Mr Taveners house where they brake uppe ye sady deere & devyded ye fleshe whereof this examinat had an haunche & a shoulder Knight & Kerbye eache of them ye like & ye rest remayned betwext Mr Taverners men & Coles And ye same examinat affirmeth yt he never hunted in ye same parke saving yt night onely but one Frances Stevenson told this examinat yt John Ball John Kerbye, Robt Coles, John Partridge & one or two of Mr Taverners men hunted in yt same parcke in ye Christmas weeke & killed there a brase or a lease of deere but of what sorte this examinat knoweth not And of farher hunting or any more hunting in yt parcke this examinat neither knoweth or hath heard of.
