    Abstract of title of Mr James Robarts to land etc at Deepdale, reciting: Demise of 12 July 1843 a) John Cooper, Potton, yeoman b) John Race, Biggleswade, gentleman Consideration - 500 lent to a) by b) a) demised to b) - piece of land in Windmill Field called Deepdale at Snow Hill (8a) adjoining the Potton to Sandy road late in occupation of Joseph Edwards and William Daseley and then of a) - 3 messuages etc built by a) on part of said land, then in occupation of Richard Croot, John Croot and John Brittain term - 900 years to secure repayment of 500 and interest at 4 10s % p.a. on 12 January next and until sum repaid. Power of sale in case of default John Cooper died intestate in August 1847 and was buried at Potton leaving Caroline Robarts, wife of James Robarts, his only child, surviving him Assignment of 24 March 1850 1) J Race 2) Frederick Hogg, Girtford, Esq George Race, Biggleswade, Esq Henry Raynes, Potton, surgeon Reciting other agreements to secure various sums Now i) assigned to ii) - several sums of 500, 200 and 150, all interest and Covenants for repayment also i) assigned to ii) - all property comprised in deeds of 12 July 1843 and 6 September 1843 for residue of term of 900 years and 1500 years Death of F Hogg in June 1878 Assignment of 30 July 1880 A) George Race Henry Raynes B) James Robarts 850 and all interest has been paid A) assigns to B) - above property for residue of said terms, discharged from all claims Death of Mrs Caroline Robarts on 11 September 1889, leaving James Robarts, her eldest son surviving her Will of J Robarts of 26 January 1893 Son, Walter Robarts, and friend William Thomas Emery Judd, draper, appointed executors and trustees ... to said trustees in trust for sale - beerhouse, and piece of land at back, late in occupation of testator's son, Edwin Robarts, deceased, at Deepdale, with use of well on adjoining premises - garden land and cottage thereon in occupations of Henry Smith, Henry Merry and others, situate at Deepdale Death of J Robarts at Potton on 10 March 1894.
