On his death the same decended to William Borron, Manchester, Lancs, gentleman, his eldest brother, who with Susannah his wife, conveyed the estates to i) by lease and release of 23 and 24 January last to hold to use of ii) and the heirs of John Foster Also i) will at next Court for Manor of Potton Much Manured surrender, at cost of John Foster - copyhold messuage in Potton, formerly 2 tenements, and now in occupation of Nathaniel Bonest and held of said Manor at yearly rent of 2s to which i) was admitted at Court on 24 January 1792 on surrender of William Borron and wife Susannah, to use of John Foster to be held by i) indemnified from any claims except 1s 10d payable to Lord of Manor of Potton out of said mansion house and closes of pasture, and yearly payment of 20s for ever issuing out of same premises of which 10s is to be paid to minister of Parish Church of Potton for preaching a sermon annually and 10s to Churchwardens to put poor boys to learn to read, according to last will of Alexander Atkinson, formerly of Potton, gentleman, deceased, dated 3 October 1712. Also except said quit rent of 2s Hery Verrall, Potton, surgeon and apothecary shall stand possessed of term of years in trust for John Foster copy signatures of all various witnesses receipt 23 and 24 August 1792 Copy made 10 October 1792
