site of a customary cottage etc in Langford, held of the Manor of Langford, formerly in occupation of Edward Searle, since Thomas Pateman, then John Layton and then John Walker [marked in margin as being sold to Frederick King on 7 July 1890] to which i) was admitted tenant on 14 July 1873 on surrender of Norman Taylor, Sophia Taylor, Samuel Taylor and Mary Taylor to use of ii), subject, as to property 1stly and 2ndly convenanted to be surrendered, to conditional surrenders of 3 August 1874, and 11 January 1875 made by i) to usse of Arthur Hunt, William Higgins Jacob, and Sands Clayton to secure repayment of 7000 and 2000 and interest at 4% p.a. and subject as to all the premises surrendered,to a condition to make them void if i) shall on 26 February next pay to ii) 1200 and interest at 5% p.a.
