Assignment of mortgage i) William Chapman, Biggleswade, gentleman ii) William White, Biggleswade, yeoman iii) the Rev Frogmere Cumming, Cardington, clerk Reciting above mortgage and that repayment was not made on day mentioned whereby estate of i) became absolute in law for residue of said term. Said sum is still owing. Now in consideration of 250 paid to i) by iii) at request of ii) and also of 30 paid to ii) by iii) i) at request of ii) transfers to iii) - Said messuage, piece of ground and newly erected cottages - All deeds, writings etc, now in custody of i) For residue of said term, subject to proviso for redemption i.e. if ii) within Shirehall,Bedford, on 21 July 1808 pays to iii) 280 and interest at 5% p.a. Then this agreement will cease. Otherwise ii) may hold premises until default made in payment or sum repaid ii) to keep cottage insured against fire in sum of 250 Signatures of all Endorsed receipts (for 250 and 30) Note as to amendments to deed Witnesses Theed Pearse, Bedford Wm Wright (clerk to Mr Chapman, Biggleswade)
