'For Vesting the Manor.....of Vintners
otherwise Vinters the Mansion House and certain Lands and
Heredits. in the County of Kent - being part of the Settled
Estates of The Right Honourable Robert Lord Ongley of the
Kingdom of Ireland in Trustees to be Sold and for laying out
the monies ariseing by such Sale in the purchase of other
Messuages Lands and Heredits. to be settles in lieu thereof to
the like Uses.'
(Rec. of wills of Sir Sam. Ongley 10 June 1725; Sam. Ongley
Esq., 7 Dec. 1727 & 9 Feb., 1736; and Anne Ongley, 15 May,
1749. Rec. Vintners remote, Lord Ongley's seat in Beds.,
therefore has agreed to sell to Jas. Whatman Esq., of
Boxley for 2693-19-6d. 2 sons minors, therefore title
must be made good by Act of Parliament. Money to be used by
trustees for purchase of lands in Beds.)
