    Covenant to Levy a Fine (L. & R. & Appointment) 1009 (i) Jn. Pryor of Baldock, Herts., brewer (neph. & hr. of Jn. Izard of 10/1-2, who died intestate as to his trust estates & survived Jn. Nutting, a co-trustee of 10/1-2.) (ii) Jn. Payne of Newell, Wath, Yorks., gent. and w. Sarah (iii) Robt. Arnold of Ampthill Grange, yeo. (iv) Thos. Gostelow of Ampthill, land surveyor (Rec. of 10/1-2 and deaths of Nutting and Izard. Rec. of 10/4- 6 and 10/8 which gave to Payne in lieu of Maulden lands and in lieu of pcl. given up by him for widening public rd. to Shefford 12 1/2 a. 22p. in Lady Mead, Maulden, exclusive of watercourse or New Cut. Duke of Bedford gave Payne allotments nos. 325, 326 & 329 on the Award (8 1/4 a.) and in exchange Payne gave Duke 9 1/4 a. 9p. in Acres Mead. Allotments & exchange in lieu of lands of 10/4-5, therefore settled to same uses. Rec. iii agreed to buy farm & lands (below). Rec. legal estate vested in i who has agreed to convey to iii.)
