    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer hopes that she and Ben are better after he had caught the measles; - comments that they will have some better times again soon and will make up for the miserable times they are having now; - thinks some of her letters may have got lost and notes he received a batch of letters from her, Harry & Alice and a copy of the Bedfordshire Times; - notes he was sorry that he had told her about going to the trenches as he knows how they will worry; - notes they have returned to camp after being away for four nights and days, "Jolly glad we all were to get back for a little rest as we had scarcely had any since we left"; - comments that some day he will tell her more but is thankful to God he came through alright; - notes they are billeted in long huts which are fairly comfortable; - comments what a pity he didn't know Lil was out in France with Miss Lena Ashwells Party as he was at Calais at that time; - asks how his Uncle John Dillingham is getting on and expects it brightens his father up seeing him; - notes he is pleased to hear about George and Flo; - comments he is feeling tired so is getting down early; - hopes by this time the children are better; - "My very best love and lots of kisses to you and the children";
