    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at 7th Lincoln's Battalion, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has had two busy days of field drill and attack and skirmishing drill and is feeling knocked up; - comments that he doesn't think he has ever felt as tired out as he does tonight; - "we started operations and then were formed up for an attack which was across a big stretch of open ground"; - notes they marched through some villages with gardens full of fruit trees and flowers; - comments the weather has been "just grand"; - asks how she is getting on for money and whether she has enough to be getting on with; - asks how she is getting on with her company and if they are still there?; - notes he has not had a letter for nearly a fortnight; - notes they are moving camp again; - asks how the boys are and hopes they are alright; - "May God take care of you while I am away and bring me back to you again soon";
