    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer comments that things are about as usual and there is very little to write about; - comments they had they usual gas mask drill where they have to wear the mask for an hour, "The masks are a bit awkward to wear at first especially the first time you have to wear them for the hour straight off but you soon get used to them although of course they are not very nice things to wear"; - notes they had to help get an Officers car out of a dyke after he had crashed, fortunately a Belgian lorry helped pull it out; - comments there was a football match in the camp between a team from his section and a Belgian team, "It was a jolly good match our team winning 2 goals to 1 goal"; - notes he has received her letter along with the photographs of her and Ede Carr and one of the two children; - is pleased to hear that Min and Reg have been staying with her for a few days as she is nice company and brightens her up a bit; - comments he can imagine how pleased the boys would be with Min's dog whilst she was with her; - asks how Sam Carr is getting on and whether Ede Ayler has heard anything of Archie Ayler yet? - notes Frank Brinkler is in a very poor way and how he feels sorry for him, "He never should have been sent out of England";
