    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer thinks this camp will be fairly easy once they have got the place into order; - notes the weather has been much better the last few days but there has been a lot of mist; - comments they have not put the balloon up much and as such have been allowed out of the camp at 6pm for a couple of hours, "We go to the Belgian Canteen and get a drink of beer or any other stuff we want, still it makes a little change for us"; - is glad she and the boys liked the cards and is sending the boys two cards he was sent from Alice and Dickie Brown; - comments they have had a lot of wet weather back in England; - notes his mother says that his wife is not looking very well and that she had a very bad cold; - "So Mrs Startup cycled down from London to save her railway expense. What a clown she was" and asks if Bonnie Startup rode with her; - comments that Miss Horn has had another girl come to stay; - notes his wife mentions in a letter about Sid Barnes but doesn't understand what she means; - asks what sort of time did she have on Monday and did she and the children go to the fete at the Manor? notes he saw it advertised in the Beds Times and wondered if she would go;
