"It was a very decent place with some nice shops a big Market Square in the centre"; - comments that they listed to a military band playing underneath a covered bandstand in the Square and then went for a drink, "and so finished one of the best days I've had in France"; - expects not to be at the camp for very long; - asks how she and the boys are getting on, and how things in general are; - asks if the baby (Richard) has eaten too many green currants and gooseberries lately and whether he has taken to the strawberries instead?;
