    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has received a letter along with a parcel containing a cake, a sandwich and eggs; - comments that it hasn't been much like Whitsuntide out there; - pleased that she was going to spend the holiday with Laura at Cowbridge and hopes she has a good time; - expects it suits the children to run about round there and that it is a nice change for them and will do them good; - asks is old Bert still full of trouble as ever and what has he got to say about the war?; - notes he is pleased with the photos especially the one where she and the boys are on the old garden seat; - "You had a very good job when you took the boys to the school to see the Punch & Judy show"; - comments that "today hasn't been much of a birthday with me still we have to make the best of things"; - is sorry to hear about George and expects that Uncle Toms death has upset his mother; - asks how is Mrs Fowler getting on, and have they heard anything from George since he went back?; - asks has Archie Ayler come out here yet and is Bert Barker still at home?;
