    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has received a letter from his wife; - notes he is sorry to hear that her mother is poorly again; - is glad to hear that Ben's nerves are better and that it must seem funny not having to sit with the children while they go off to sleep; - comments if Ben dreads going to school, that she should not send him; - asks where is George stationed and does she hear from Daniel Webb?; - notes that he often sees Bonner from Westoning, whose father is in the Metropolitan Police in London; - notes that Bonner stays with Miss Bonner the School Mistress; - comments "I cant understand young Bert Barker, there must be something somewhere but he will have to go in the finish"; - expects she will have seen in the papers about the next great push which is coming off now, "It started this morning about daybreak and by what we can hear is going well for us again"; - notes there has been a lot of heavy gun firing for some days, "when the bombardment started it was just as if the skyline was on fire. Its a grand but awful sight"; - notes that "Our boys" went over the top this morning but it looks as if nothing could stand up against it; - asks her to kiss the children for him;
