    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at No 21 Kite & Balloon Section RFC Camp, [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer notes how quickly time seems to fly by; - wonders what they are all doing at home and how they are getting on; - "How I long for the old Sundays we have had, they were happy days for us"; - hopes the baby is much better and asks how is Ben getting on?; - wishes he could come and see them all tonight; - asks whether Dot (Dorothy Brittain) is still staying with her, and how are her Mother & Father keeping?; - asks if she is still having the Doctor to see the baby, and what did he really say it was?; - asks how she is getting on with next door now?; - notes she has not let him know what was done round the top of the well, " I do hope they have made it safe as I know what Ben is. He would be sure to want to look down it"; - asks what the weather is like at home and comments that it is very cold there; - asks how are Ede and Archie Ayler getting on and where is he stationed now?; - asks what is William Summerfield doing now and is he working at Cotton End?; - asks is Bert Barker still at home?; - notes that he is having an easy time of it now as there is not much doing with the balloon, "We get about half an hours drill in the morning and then camp fatigues during the day which are not much so have plenty of time to ourselves"; - comments they have been on reduced rations so as to allow for other stuff to come up the lines; - notes there is an order for some of the men to go to the station to fetch tens tons of coal as the place gets shelled; - notes that he went there the other Saturday night, "It is about 10 miles from here, and the worst part of it is its such a cold ride there and back"; - comments that he has a bad cold;
