Letter: from Richard Dillingham at RFC Camp [France] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has received a letter from his wife and spent the day at the rifle range; - runs through what happened at the range; - notes that it was his first time firing a rifle "unless it was at a bottle at some fair" and that the range was in the sand dunes close to the seashore; - explains how they marched back from the range in the way a regiment marches when on the move to the trenches or in the enemies country; - notes he is glad to hear that father and mother are looking better; - comments on the two aeroplanes crashing in Flitwick which his wife took the children to see down the Ridgeway. "I only wish I had never seen an aeroplane"; - asks whether they have done anything with the field of Dick Walters which was to be an aerodrome?; - has undergone a kit and medical inspection;
