    Letter: from Richard Dillingham at RFC Camp, Lydd [Kent] to Christine Dillingham at Kings Road, Flitwick - writer has not been given leave for the weekend after finding out only 10% of the section were allowed to be away. - comments he had to draw for the passes "of course the thing was worked for the Sergeants, Corporals and their favourites"; - notes how he went for a walk with seven others to Dymchurch, where they had their tea and on their way back walked along the beach where there were no end of mussels, winkles and seagulls; - comments that he is on fatigue duty at the Officers Mess "Its a rotten business and a jolly hard day"; - has received the Bedfordshire Times from his mother; - thinks that he will not get another leave but if he does will try to meet his wife in Ashford; - notes he has just heard that they are going out to France Tuesday week;
