in Old Park Road, Hitchin
1) Will of Joseph Margetts Pierson of Hitchin, Esq
(died 9 May 1842) devised to his father in law
George Jas Gorham and his friends Henry Crabbe
of Hitchin and Jos Okely: messuage and 10
cottages or tenements and 6A of meadow at or
near the west end of Tylers Street , Hitchin,
which he had lately purchased from Thos Hughes
AND very small piece of gnd, which he had
purchased from Wm Lucas and added to the gdn
of the messuage (after the death or remarriage
of his wife) as Trustees for sale and bequeath
residue of his personal estate to his 5 sons
made 18 Oct 1823
2) Administration of goods etc of J M Pierson to
son Jos M Pierson, the first 2 executors
having died during his lifetime and the
third having renounced Probate
granted by PCC 13 June 1842
3) Deed Poll of Jos Okely
recites death of J M Pierson, Pierson's
wife and other two executors.

one under 21
refused probate and executorship
