Gold leaf, ink and watercolour (green, red, yellow, blue and purple) on parchment. Folded. Bound in atlas of Wrest Park Estate. 26 1/2'' x 21 1/4''. Scale 8 perches : 1 inch (40 inches : 1 mile). Elaborate scrollwork cartouche. Compass indicator. Farm yard and closes, including three detached closes, making 47 acres in all. Inset table of references giving field names and acreages. All trees marked and identified by species ( e for elm, a for ash, and o for oak) Note: Maps of 'Carlton Hall Farm' and 'Whitworth's and Bletsoe's Farms in Harrold' listed in the sub-title page are apparently missing from the volume at this point
