    f.5. FLITTON and SILSOE, 1718. 'The Mannor of Flitton and Silso Continued, being a draught fo the Township of Silso and other adjacent fields in the aforesaid parish, Surveyed 1718'. (Edward Laurence, surveyor). Ink and watercolour (green, yellow, ochre and grey) on paper, backed and edged with paper. In atlas of Wrest Park Estate. Folded. 27'' x 45''. No scale given (approximately 20 inches : 1 mile). Cartouche with geometrical surround. Compass indicator. Edged with pairs of parallel lines in red. Shows centre of Silsoe village, and enclosed and open field lands adjoining the Bedford to Barton road and towards Flitton and Maulden. Fields shown include Kitchen Field, Fielden Meadow, Great Road Field, Beech Wood, Beech Field, Red Field, Goss Hill Field, Water Slade, Barrel Field, and Dowdel and Kennel. Field names and acreages marked. Some later notes concerning lands held by Mr. Barnard. Marked 3
