    f.1 Frontispiece: Arms of Henry, Duke of Kent, with motto 'HON.SOIT.QUI.MAL.Y.PENSE' and STAT RELIGONE', above an oval with surround of elaborate scrollwork within which appears the following dedication: The MANNORS and ESTATES belong to his Grace HENRY DUKE, Marquis and Earl of KENT Earl of HAROLD Viscount Goodrich and Baron LUCAS of Crudwell & ca Anno Dni 1719. Then Lord Privy Seal, and one of their Excellencies the Lord Justices during his Majesties absence, Lord Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum of the Country of BEDFORD one of the Lords of his Majesties most Honourable Privy Council and Knight of the most Noble order of the GARTER Ink and watercolour (grey) on paper, back with paper and reinforced with linen obscuring some detail on the left-hand edge. Scrollwork etc. Edge with three parallel lines in ink, the innermost pair being set close together.
