Title
Apprenticeship indenture. Carolus Nicholls Field, late of Hitchin, with consent of his parents, is indentured to George Gurney, draper of Ampthill for 100. Apprenticed from 15th July 1754 for 7 years. The usual prohibitions on alcohol, gaming, etc, and shall not contract matrimony during the term. Board and lodging to be provided by George Gurney but not wearing apparel, which will be provided by John Field.
