    Attorney General's accounts made following the decree on the last will and testament of Charles Nicholls Field 15 May 1755 [see previous entry]. Plaintiff - Daniel Warner, informant. Deforciants - John Field and Robert Ward. John Field is the testator's heir at law. Items listed include: - Daniel Warner's cash in hand from testator's personal estate including cash for sale of an old backgammon table, 335.0.4d. - Daniel Warner's disbursements from testator's personal estate including 3.15s to Genzenlous Miller at the White Lyon, Hatfield for expenses, as the testator died there, the apothecary's bill of 1.1s, various servants' wages, window tax, Mr Berry for cleaning the watch Mr Field left before he died, various household bills, cleaning/repairing the house, 107.2s 2d. - Debts claimed against the testator, including apothecary, 30.1s - Funeral expenses paid by John Field, including 8 pall bearers, wine, lead coffin, outside coffin covered in broad cloth, shroud, bricks and lime for the grave, 25.6s - Testator's legacies paid by John Field and those still unpaid, with their computed interest added.
