- TitleLetter Reads- Woodcraft says that the two farms at Brogborough, together with portions of land occupied by Hardwick and Joseph King would be enough for a man(keeper?)but he objects to preserving it, because it will become a breeding ground for adjoining properties and fill Holcut Wood and other spinneys with hares. Bennett explained that he thought the Duke's object was to protect that side not to breed and rear game. He seemed to be acceptable. He then goes on to the question of leverets - some people send them in and some apparently don't see any. He offers a solution to this problem and then turns to the question of the Dissenters School. They are most grateful for the Duke's subscription.
