- ReferenceR3/4852
- TitleThis is a copy of a letter from Mr Haedy to Mr Bennett and, briefly reads - The Duke is willing to pay above their value for the cottages at Chenies. To fix the price of pigs to be sold to Mrs? Ratcliffe The Duke is supposed to have the leverets on the outskirts of the protected manors killed. His only fear about this is that it may be a temptation to the game keepers to ake advantage of it - to do so without properly accounting for them. It is against his principles to put temptation in people's way. He asks for Mr Bennett's advice on the matter.
