- TitleLetter Reads- Had met Day and Brown at Willington Mill and fixed height of towing path, 3' 6" above water and 12" wide. Day will draw up large scale plan on parchment. It now seems work done to repair gates at Willington in 1830 was badly done. Most will have to be done again. looks more like 200 than 80. Has got confidence in Day, a plain practical man, but had Swansborough lived he would have been ashamed of his work.
