Letter Reads- Financial detail. Sale of park timber to Stenning. North Bedfordshire forman, Wright, drunk, apparently frequently; told him to expect discharge. Boughton has been to see the title machine; thinks it alright if you could have clay without stones, but thinks it would not work in our clay. He took stones with him, & Irwin would not let him put them in their clay. Old Boughton grateful to Duke, and for son being allowed to succeed.
