Title
Letter from P.Aislabie of Stratton Park to John Wynne ar Bedford House
Have directed horse I rode down upon to be brought to Bedford House, & beg you to order Daniel Mason to take him home to Mr. Cook's at the Nag's Head, James Street. Come luckily, as great want of harvest work being settled, incapable of doing themselves. Found Fawlker in his usual happy state. Among the books that will come from Woburn Abbey is an inventory of stock etc. in Hampshire last May & another Nov. 1757: please send down with the others. If Billy goes towards Child's, I wish he would call & ask if Thomas Bullock has taken up Wing's draft about 37 paid April last & in Child's hands near a year. His account has never been looked into since he has been at the New Forest, near 3 years. I hope they will not be found in the like confusion they were some years ago at Thornhaugh.
P.S. Polly Fawlkner says servant maid is at present in service abt. 10 m. off.
