Letter from William Fisher, Millbrook Reads- Davis is pressing him for rent for Millbrook warren. This ought to yield 6,000 or 7,000 rabbits, but has not had half that. Lord Ossory desired him not to kill foxes, and writer understood he was to be compensated, but the due amount of compensation is difficult to assess, and he has pressed in vain for arbitration. Lord Ossory has actually brought 30 brace from other parts, and has even warned that writer would be held responsible if hounds were caught in traps. (A long tale of woe). Transcript available
