Letter from John Milner, Fordingbridge Reads- He is a surgeon in the Navy, and reports a fracas, when he was threatened by James Ranger on the occasion of his offering to help Mr. Batten remove his goods. This apparently was at or near Ashby Lodge in the New Forest.
