    Correspondence to John Butcher, Bloomsbury Square Letter from John Tidcombe, Steppingley Warns of tenants cutting & using much timber for waggons, carts, harrows, ploughs etc., particularly at Steppingley. Writer thinks it his duty to write, wishes his name not to be mentioned. If His Grace's friends increases at Bedford, those at first against him will be the first that will be for His Grace when the time comes. The great pennyworths that tenants at Eversholt and Steppingley have may well pay the workmanship in repairs, which would gave a deal of money yearly. Transcript available
