Letter from Thomas Churchman at Cambridge to Robert Butcher Reads- Have acquainted Mr. Gifford with the affair of the farm. He says he will have the farm on the terms you sent him. He thinks some of the expense he is put to is a bit hard; but now the affair I think is concluded once and for all. Would you please give good notice of the paying of quit-rents, as heretofore and not forget the old custom of sending (a letter of thanks?) on receiving the money. The money would come more easily that way.
