Title
Letter from John Lardner of Wandsworth to Robert Butcher
Reads- We seem to have missed each other when you called. I have since called on you in Bloomsbury but you happened to be in the country. Since you have not been kind enough to take notice of my business I send this to ask if I am to be concerned in the land any longer than Lady Day. otherways I must take an opportunity of Waiting upon His Grace, who I am sure will not do so much injury as to prevent our manuring and preparing the land in time if we are to hold it.
