Reads- Am now living at the Earl of Thomonds at Shortgrove by Newport I bought a small farm here, nearly all arable, but have laid down two enclosures with grass this spring. Your idea of improving the meadow by drains and cleaning the brook cant be effectually done; the hills are too steep, the river too crooked etc. Will you write to me from Cambridgeshire?
