Title
Letter possibly from Thomas Spinke of Bedford House to William batten at Thorney
Reads- 71 was the sum remaining on the foot of the Woburn account. As for my nag, use your discretion; I hope I shall get 8 for him. Take 40s. out of my money for mine and my men's being at your house, which I forgot when I came away; and 5s. to pay Page and Jacob if you think fit; by any means let Page be paid for the running of my horse. If you can see Ro. Hoare (?)'s nag again and like him, pray buy him unless you can meet with a better. I am sorry Cousin Peter is ill and will send some electuary. Rembrances to sister & child; shall be glad to hear of sister's safe delivery.
