Probate of Will of Hannah Dennis of Bedford, widow & grocer (died 7 Feb 1832) eldest dau Sar 'house 1 live in' with cellar, Candle House, Barn, Stable & gdns & priog house next churchyard all these in King's Arms yard div between Sar ( stock in trade and all utensils & & sister ( furniture of the house, Book Debts, ( China, glass, watch milk pail to Sar 500 pd out of stocks to Sar's sister Mrs Pressland [' I give to Saly most as she lives with me and being so poorly with her eyes cannot do much therefore I give her 100 more because of her affliction, so will be 500 in money'] to Han Pressland estate in Cadwell (Caudwell) St where Mr Malder, Shoemaker lives '30 neat money' instead of ho I had at Kempston (sold to Mr Dudley for that sum) 2 Daus share & share alike money in stocks mortgages & Bonds 'Brother Impey said he wanted nothing so have not left him anything' 2 daus executives (NB phonetic spelling!) made 1812 proved 1 May 1832
