(purchaser) recites Deed Poll of 20 Nov 1856 several pieces of land in Wymington, Souldrop, Oakley, St. John, Bedford & St. Mary, Bedford [31A 1R 8P] of which 1A OR 33P in St. Mary Consideration 591 15s 6d 15 Jan 1858 f) Conveyance 1) Midland Railway Co. 2) Lucy, TW & J Pearse recites agreement entered in to during lifetime of Theed Pearse that for compensation to him of damage to him because of King's Close, St. Mary, Bedford being injuriously affected by diversion of Ampthill Road by construction of an embankment in front of close, to receive 150 and shld also grant T. Pearse so much of close then belonging to Duke of Bedford as in the Diversion of the Road shld be left between road & the 'said road called King's Close (diversion & embankment now made) 14P of land St. Mary Parish Bedford lying between diverted road and said closed called King's Close' 18 Feb 1858
