of Charles Samuel Lindsell of the Holme, Biggleswade, Esq.
born 24 Jan 1825, child of late Robert Lindsell late of
Biggleswade, Brewer by his wife Frances (1 of 2 daughters
of Samuel Wells, formerly of Biggleswade, who d. 24 Jul 1831.
Other daughter (Eliza) m. William Hogg formerly of Biggleswade,
Brewer).
Lindsell and Hogg carried on S. Wells Brewery under style of
'Wells and Co.', C.S.L. became partner 1857 until 1898 when
business sold to George Winch of Chatham to carry on
business as Wells and Winch Ltd. details of payments under
deeds of Mar 1832 and 30 Jul 1842 to members of Lindsell and
Hogg families.
