At (3)'s direction, (1) assign (2) as their attorney to prosecute the following Judgment:
In 1741 Richard Thrustout pleaded at the Court of Common Bench that Richard Plummer and Charles Nicholls entered with force and arms into
- a messuage, 3 barns, 3 stables, 2 cow houses, 2 cart lodges, 1 brick kiln, 2 gardens, 2 orchards, 20 acs land, 20 acs meadow, 10 acs pasture, 10 acs woodland in Welwyn which (1) had leased to him for a term as yet unexpired
- a messuage, 3 other barns, 3 other stables, 2 other cowhouses, 2 other cart lodges, 1 other brick kiln, 2 other orchards, 20 other acs land, 20 other acs meadow, 10 other aces pasture and 10 other acs woodland in Welwyn which William Hale esq leased to him for a term as yet unexpired.
Richard Plummer and Charles Nicholls pleaded not guilty of trespass and ejectment, but at the February 1741 Hertford assizes the jury found against them. Richard Thrustout was awarded 24-16-8d
