    Copy release of shares of a legacy of 200 charged on real estate devised by will of Daniel Gazeley deceased Parties: (i) John Sear of Caddington [Hertfordshire], bricklayer; Elizabeth Sear of Caddington, spinster; Josiah Sear of Caddington, bricklayer; Ann Sear of Caddington, spinster [Elizabeth, Josiah and Ann being three of the four children of John by his late wife Martha, daughter of Daniel Gazeley]; (ii) William Gazeley of Caddington, farmer; Samuel Gazeley of Caddington, farmer Reciting: (I) will of Daniel Gazeley of Caddington, yeoman of 21 Dec 1833 in which he: - bequeathed 200 to his friend Thomas Stokes of Caddington, cordwainer and his two sons William and Samuel [(ii) above] issuing out of his freehold and copyhold lands in Caddington in trust to pay interest from the 200 to his daughter Ann Hunt, widow, and, after her death, in trust for her children Jonathan and Elizabeth Hunt and any other children she might have; if she and all her children died the principal sum should then be bequeathed to (ii); - bequeathed 200 to Thomas Stokes and (ii) issuing from all his lands in Caddington in trust that the interest be paid to his son-in-law John Sear of Caddington, bricklayer until the last of his four children by Martha Sear [ne Gazeley] i.e. Mary, Elizabeth, Josiah and Ann became 21 at which point the principal should be divided amongst the four children or their heirs if any had died, or, if all children and their heirs died before reaching 21 the principal to be divided equally between (ii); (II) death of Daniel Gazeley and proof of his will on 15 Jun 1838 in Archdeaconry Court of Bedford (III) death of Ann Hunt on 9 Apr 1849, her two children Jonathan and Elizabeth having predeceased her without issue (IV) Mary, daughter of John and Martha Sear married Arthur Smith and died in Dec 1841, being buried at Caddington and leaving one son, William, currently aged 9 years (V) Ann Sear, youngest of the four children of John and Martha had since become 21, being baptised at Caddington on 8 Feb 1829 (VI) (ii) had paid (i) shares of the legacy worth 40 each, retaining 40 on behalf of William Smith Operative Part: - (i) released all lands charged with the legacy to (ii) in consideration of the legacy having been paid Copy made by Smith Grover & Smith of Hemel Hempstead [Hertfordshire], solicitors
